As the WORLD turns so do the days of our LIVES
As we awaited our arrival (see belly in picture), Joe received an award from his Master's program, and we both successfully made it through our school years. Joe was teaching English in Mountain Brook, and I was teaching Special Education in Shelby County. It was my first year of teaching and even amid Joe's crazy schedule, he still helped me organize and plan for my classroom; I should have given him an award too. It was a huge learning experience for me, and I have a newfound respect for teachers everywhere.
Joe received his Master's degree this summer and discovered that he looks great in green.
Then, giving us just enough time to get everything ready, Joseph Steven arrived one day before his due date in late June. We were thrilled (especially me) because I would be changing careers from teaching to becoming a full- time mom.
